Happ was started by a small team of creative entrepreneurs who walked the path firsthand – juggling multiple collaborations, chasing payments, and trying to build sustainable creative businesses without the infrastructure to support it.

We’re at an inflection point in human work. AI is automating the robotic tasks that once defined jobs, and creative ability – your innovation, originality, and meaning-making is becoming the most valuable currency in the world. But the barrier isn’t talent. It’s infrastructure. So we started happ to change that.

Shlomit Malka

Co-Founder, CEO

Shlomit is a business and technology entrepreneur with a unique background as one of Israel’s leading international fashion models. Over the course of her modeling career, she collaborated with iconic global brands including Chanel, Armani, Ralph Lauren, and Roberto Cavalli, and appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Grazia, Marie Claire, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Beyond fashion, Shlomit built a presence in television as a host on prominent Israeli programs before transitioning into entrepreneurship and community leadership. Managing her own career independently sparked a passion for helping others do the same – particularly freelancers and creative professionals navigating the realities of independent business growth.

Today, as co-founder and CEO of Happ, Shlomit shapes the company’s product vision and community strategy, drawing on her cross-industry experience to build tools that empower the next generation of independent professionals.

Originally from Israel, Shlomit now lives in New York with her dog Bono and her cat Jeremiah, where she continues to lead at the intersection of creativity, technology, and business.

Omri Galili

Co-Founder, CTO

Omri is a technology entrepreneur specializing in backend architecture and the simplification of complex operational processes. His expertise lies in transforming intricate business logic into practical, application-driven systems and intuitive user interfaces.

Over the past decade, he co-founded and led SentrySite, an engineering-driven technology studio delivering custom product design and development services. During more than 10 years of activity, SentrySite supported hundreds of companies, including leading enterprise groups and municipalities, delivering tailored UX/UI design and robust system development across diverse industries.

Omri’s core strength is in backend systems, infrastructure design, and the orchestration of advanced AI agents to execute complex workflows and automate multi-layered processes. He has led the technical execution of large-scale platforms, translating business requirements into scalable and resilient architectures.

He is a co-founder of Happ and is actively involved in engineering and platform development.

Omri grew up in Sha’arei Tikva, Israel. He is married to Natali and is a father of two sons, Ari and Tomi, and their dog Rio. He currently serves as a Major in the Israel Defense Forces Reserves and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Guy Ben Ari

Co-Founder

Guy is a technology entrepreneur specializing in Israeli fintech innovation. His expertise lies in building structured, technology-driven financial products that translate regulatory and operational complexity into scalable digital platforms.

Over the past decade, he co-founded and led SentrySite, an engineering-driven technology studio focused on custom system development across a wide range of industries. For more than 10 years, SentrySite designed and delivered both complex and streamlined digital infrastructures, tailored to the unique operational needs of public institutions, academic organizations, startups, and growing companies.

Guy led end-to-end initiatives spanning product strategy, system architecture, UX design, and the implementation of mission-critical workflows, building systems designed to support real-world business processes at scale.

He is a co-founder of Happ and is actively involved in product and platform development.

Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Guy served as both a member and instructor in the Israeli Scouts youth movement. He currently serves as a Major in the Israel Defense Forces Reserves and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
