Destination Charge

The Stripe payment model used to collect funds and transfer them to connected accounts.

A Destination Charge is the Stripe payment model used by happ to process transactions between clients and users.

In this model, the client pays the platform through Stripe Checkout. Stripe deducts processing fees, happ deducts the application fee and the remaining amount is automatically transferred to the user’s Connected Account.

This structure ensures that platform fees are collected instantly and transparently at the time of transaction.

Destination Charges simplify revenue distribution while maintaining compliance and security.

By using this architecture, happ ensures that payment processing, fee allocation and fund transfer happen in a single, seamless flow.
