Happ for Sound Technicians is the business homebase for independent sound technicians. Document channel counts, equipment lists, setup and strike time, and structured payment terms for live and studio engagements - all in one mobile-first platform.
Available in: US
Happ is the homebase for independent sound technicians. It brings all your Collaborations into one mobile-first workspace - contracts, payments, and billing. Pricing and contract terms draw on the entire creator network, so you quote from real data. Document your channel counts and tech rider, bill setup and soundcheck separately, and set rates by session type.
A technical rider clause specifies channel counts, equipment, power requirements, and setup time. The Collaborator signs off before the engagement.
Your agreement can include a technical compliance clause. Non-compliance triggers a rescheduling right or fee adjustment.
Your agreement defines different rates for rehearsal, soundcheck, show day, and recording sessions. Each is a separate line item.
Postponements beyond your defined window are treated as new bookings - requiring fresh confirmation and a new deposit. The original date is released.
Happ does not set your rates - Smart Pricing surfaces relevant benchmarks from the community brain, so you can price a rehearsal, a show day, or a recording session with real market context. You set the number.
Invoicing is tied to the signed agreement - setup, show day, and any recording as milestones - paid straight through Happ. Happ never takes a commission on your work; the only cost is a standard payment processing fee that depends on how your Collaborator pays, always shown to you upfront.
Every booker, event company, venue, and agent is organized in your Homebase with full contract and payment history. No more lost threads or forgotten contacts.
